Law Enforcement Membership

Lodge membership is open to any regularly appointed or elected and full-time employed law enforcement officer of the United States, the State of Georgia, or political subdivision thereof, or any agency may be eligible for membership in the Karl F. Eidam, Georgia Lodge #9 Fraternal Order of Police, subject to the provisions of this Constitution, provided that such law enforcement officer must be serving his law enforcement duties in the State of Georgia. No person shall be denied membership on account of race, religion, color, creed, sex, age or national origin.

What is the membership cost?

Annual dues for membership are $130 for active law enforcement and $75 for retired law enforcement.

When is payment due?

Payments are due on the first of the year or upon application.

What happens after I apply?

New membership applications are presented to the board & current members for ratification at monthly meetings held the 2nd Monday of each month at the Lodge.

Will my membership be renewed automatically

Yes. Once you make your first membership payment, you will be automatically billed annually. To discontinue membership, contact us at ????

Associate FOP members are civilian affiliates of the Fraternal Order of Police. The Fraternal Order of Police is a national organization that consists of active-duty law enforcement officers employed with federal, state, county, and municipal agencies.

What is an associate member?

Associate members help establish a better understanding between the public and law enforcement agencies of our community and state through public relations, legislative and educational efforts. The also assist in eradicating the public apathy prevalent throughout our country, and encourage communities to assist our police in every way possible.

What is the cost for an associate membership?

Yearly dues for Associate Membership in the Karl F. Eidam Lodge #9f Fraternal Order Of Police are $52.00/year. You will be eligible to attend monthly meetings of the Lodge, participate in Lodge-sponsored events, and enjoy the fraternity of the law enforcement community.

How do I become an associate member?

Complete the membership application below or contact your local Lodge for more information. Complete the necessary information on the application and return it, with your membership fee, enclosing a check or money order. You can also pay online by clicking here.

What happens after I apply?

Associate membership applications are submitted to the board of directors and require the approval of current lodge members.
